What UPI and cards require

Razorpay checks your PAN or identity, the bank account where it sends your money, any business documents it asks for, and your live store with policy pages. If it can verify you through central KYC records, activation can take minutes; manual review can take 3–4 working days. PayInBio links the Razorpay account you own — it does not create one.

The one thing that costs extra: connecting your own domain is ₹499, once — not a monthly add-on. Buy the domain from any registrar; we connect it and handle the SSL. Talk to us about it.

The parts that don't change

Four things we will never do.

We never hold your money.

Razorpay settles every payment straight into your own bank account. It does not pass through PayInBio on the way, so there is nothing for us to delay, freeze or take a cut of.

We never take a percentage.

₹10 on a ₹200 order. ₹10 on a ₹20,000 order. Growing your average order value is worth more to you here than it is anywhere that charges a share of it.

We never bill your buyer.

Our fee is invoiced to you and never appears at checkout. Your customer pays your price. Razorpay's own gateway charges are separate and go to Razorpay, on prepaid orders only.

We never sell you a bigger plan.

There is no upgrade, because there is no tier above this one. Everything in the list above is included from the first day. Razorpay still has to activate your own account before UPI and card checkout can take live payments.

Questions sellers actually ask.

What happens after my first 10 sales?
Your eleventh paid order, and every one after it, carries a flat ₹10 — the same ₹10 whether the order is ₹200 or ₹20,000. The ten free sales are for the life of your store, not ten a month, and the fee is invoiced to you: your buyer never sees it. No store pays anything until 30 days after we have told them it is starting, and only on sales made after that notice.
What if I refund an order, or a parcel comes back?
One rule, and since it is not in your favour we will put it plainly: the ₹10 is for the order, not for how the order ends. Once an order reaches you it is charged — a prepaid sale, a COD parcel you later cannot deliver, or one you refund afterwards. We produced the sale; what you settle with your buyer after that is between the two of you. It is the same ₹10 whether you refund all of it or part of it, because the fee is per order and never per rupee. The one thing that is never charged is a prepaid checkout your buyer walked away from: if the payment was never completed there is no order, so there is nothing to charge.
How do payment processing fees work?
We never take a percentage of your sales, and your money is never routed through PayInBio — Razorpay settles it straight into your own bank account. Our own fee is flat: ₹10 per paid order after your first ten, invoiced to you and never added to your buyer's bill. Razorpay's gateway charges are separate, and apply when you use prepaid checkout.
What payment methods can I accept?
Every store, Free included, can take COD orders, collect payment manually over WhatsApp, and enable Razorpay prepaid checkout (UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets) after connecting their own Razorpay account.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connecting a custom domain is ₹499, once — not a monthly add-on. You buy the domain itself from any registrar you like; we don't sell domains, we connect the one you own and handle the SSL certificate. Until you connect one, your store lives at yourname.payin.bio, which works exactly the same way.
Is there a setup fee?
No. No setup fee, no card on file to start, and no contract. The only two prices are ₹10 per paid order after your first ten, and ₹499 once if you connect a custom domain.
Is there a limit on how many products I can list?
No. Your catalogue is unlimited — list as many products as you like, with no card on file and no upgrade prompt when you pass some number.
How do digital downloads work?
Every product can carry up to 10 files, 5GB in total and 1GB per file, delivered to your buyer through secure expiring links as soon as the order is paid. Digital products sell without a payment gateway at all, so you can start before connecting Razorpay.
